7 Helpful Tools to Make Cleaning a Breeze
There’s no way around it. Unless you’re one of the slim majority that actually likes to clean, it’s just not something you look forward to doing.
But, it still has to get done. So, Today I would like to share seven nifty tools that can help make your cleaning routine faster, easier, and more automated.
Let me just be upfront and say that, generally, I am of the “less chemicals is better” camp. But, a few of these products do break that rule. But, they have to work really well for me to use them, and they do.
So, without further ado…
I love these wipes. I keep them in each bathroom and under the sink. Then, when I am doing some speedy cleaning they are right where I need them and ready to go. And they’re very durable. I can use one wipe for my bathroom sink, shelf, give the toilet a quick wipe!

Ok, this is one of the “not so nice” items I mentioned above. But, if your shower is gross, this stuff is amazing! I spray it on, let it sit for a little while, then come back and wipe the shower clean. The dirt and grime and nastiness really just wipe right off. For that I will compromise once in a while. Life is one big gray area anyway, right?
I have a friend that sells chemical free cleaning products, but they are so expensive! Sorry, if you sell them, too, but I just knew there had to be a better(cheaper) way to get my cleaning without using chemicals all the time. So, when I saw this e-cloth Window Cleaning Pack I was intrigued. And it gets rid of 99% of bacteria just like those other, more expensive brands. 🙂 I use these for all the mirrors and windows in my house. Wet the waffle weave cloth, clean the window/mirror, then wipe dry with the polishing cloth. Easy and streak free!

Like I said before – our sponges get gross and smelly and have to be replaced. I like that these are reusable and I can just toss them in the wash to clean them when needed. Everyone wants a sparkling clean toilet, but who wants to clean it? Gross! At first I was going to use those tablets that you drop in the tank and they keep the bowl clean, but turns out they are bad for the plastic parts in the tank of the toilet. Who knew?! Then I came across this little gem. It uses bromine instead of chlorine and sets up in seconds. So long toilet brush!

Just the fact that it has the word “wand” in its name makes me like this gadget already! This is great for those nights when you just have one or two things to wash and don’t want to fill up the entire sink. Or if you need a certain pot, but it’s already dirty, just use this guy instead of a sink full of water.
*update: I now also use this little gem to clean my shower while I’m in the shower!
